Bisnode works to promote a transparent information society and is confident that the right information increases efficiency in society and creates opportunities for business. At the same time, it is of the utmost importance, and one of the cornerstones of freedom of information, to safeguard privacy and information security. Zero tolerance and preventative measures
Bisnode has a zero tolerance policy against all forms of corruption and works actively to ensure that they do not occur within the company.

  • Corruption refers to the misuse of a position of trust for the benefit of oneself or the company, for example through the use of bribes.
  • Offering, promising or giving a bribe is strictly prohibited, as is requesting, accepting a promise for, or receiving a bribe.
  • A bribe is a gift or other benefit that could influence another person, as part of their employment or duties, to give undue advantage to the person providing the bribe.
  • Corruption also includes extortion, favoritism, nepotism, fraud, conflict of interest and misappropriation.
  • Other abuses of power, negligence and mismanagement can also be viewed as corruption.

We strive to increase our market shares and win the loyalty of our customers, but we never compromise on business ethics and responsibility. Bisnode complies with antitrust and competition legislation in the markets we operate in.
Bisnode does not make anti-competitive agreements.

  • We use honest methods when we do business with clients, suppliers and other partners.
  • We cooperate with competition authorities.
  • We ensure that our employees are familiar with competition legislation and policies.

Our employees work in the company's best interest and avoid any action which could be construed as favoring companies, organizations, individuals or other stakeholders at Bisnode's expense.

  • Our employees shall avoid all types of activities that are in violation of the company's interests or adversely affect their discretion or integrity.
  • Bisnode has no political affiliations and company funds are not used to support political campaigns or for other political purposes.

Bisnode adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). We aim to continuously provide transparent and accurate information in a timely manner. Our accounting complies with applicable laws and regulations and financial information is communicated in accordance with current legislation and other directives.

Bisnode employees must not disseminate or misuse confidential information, such as non-public information about Bisnode's business activities, strategies, business transactions, business plans or business processes. Where relevant, Bisnode requires employees and other people performing work on behalf of Bisnode to sign a confidentiality agreement, the validity of which extends beyond the length of the employment or assignment period.
